Life's journey, a mystery, a delightful wonder, with layers of colour and formations.

All that Jazz, and beat, I work with sounds, varied, influencing my strokes and hands, I can be lost in a delicate sonata, or travel the world with its musical powers, catching the strains of desires.

Water, the most powerful, life giving element, has many moods, sometimes calm, sometimes fearful, always a hypnotic force. The glistening power of a waterfall, changing into a meandering stream. How we can dream  when on banks flowing with   silver, or awed by the vast ocean. I hope to capture with energy and instinctiveness, marks, flows, and awe.

All seasons have their splendour, and many riches. It's a glorious, wondrous planet on which we live, endlessly showy and moody. I hope to capture carpets of heady colours and delicate shy scents, acrylic, leaves and joy help to rush me foreword.

I am drawn by the surrounding countryside, the changing seasons colours, and moods. I strive to present silence, rustling, squelching moments adding texture and a tactile surface using mixed media.

I work with many materials and implements, acrylics, earth, oil sticks, making marks, my hand patterning my mind becoming free , yet with a random control. I am using special Chinese brushes and inks, also large decorating brushes, twigs & leaves.
